Welcome to The Sustainable Home Hub. I am Helen Edwards, an award winning writer, blogger and children's author. I am Mama to 3 beautiful sons and I have just finished my PhD in psychology. We are all about inspiring action for our planet, with kindness and hope. In particular we take a focus on living a more gentle life for our children, because it is #ourkidsplanet. We want to help you take action, while tackling climate grief & eco-anxiety.

We are constantly overwhelmed with the devastating impacts of our climate emergency, with the plastic pollution tsunami, extinction crisis, loss of habitats and eco-systems, and the ultimate demise of human beings. It is easy to become filled with guilt and despair.

While we need to share these messages, take as much action as we can ourselves, and keep speaking up and fighting for change at all levels, we also need to acknowledge our grief, sadness and anxiety about the future. The collective grief is growing and adults and children across the globe, are feeling the weight of hopelessness. But without hope, there is nothing.

I hope you will join us in taking inspired action, for our children and all of our futures.  Sign up here for our newsletter so you don't miss updates, new stories and info about my books, resources and events.

Let's change the conversation. Let's acknowledge our sadness and grief about our planet, but also, let's stand together and see the joy in our planet so we can stay on the path to keeping her safe and healthy. Let's do this together, with kindness and hope, for our children's futures.

Look for the helpers and be the light.
